‘Aishah related that Asmaa bint Abu Bakr came in to see the Messenger of Allah (SAW), wearing thin garments, and the Messenger of Allah (SAW) turned away from her and said: Oh Asmaa, truly when a woman starts menstruating it is not fitting for anything of her to be seen except this and this – and He pointed to His face and hands.
