قرآن ﴿ ولا تبرجن تبرج الجاهلية الاولى ﴾ الاحزاب ٣٣
وقد قال الله تعالى ﴿ ولا تبرجن تبرج الجاهلية الأولى ﴾ وقد إختلف المفسرون في ذلك التبرج فقال مجاهد كانت المرأة في الجاهلية الاولى تخرج فتمشي بين الرجال فذلك التبرج وقال قتادة هي مشية فيها تكسر وتغنج وقال إبن ابي نجيح هو التبخير وحكى الفراء أنه لبس الثياب الخفاف التي تصف الجسد قال ألمصنف رحمه الله قلت نفس خروج المرأة من بيتها ومشيها في الطريق فتنة فإذا تصنعت في مشيتها لتُرى محاسنها زاد في الشرك حبل

{ And do not bedeck yourselves a bedecking as in the former age of ignorance } Al-ahzab 33
Allah Most High has said { And do not bedeck yourselves a bedecking as in the former age of ignorance } . The expositors have differed regarding this bedecking. Mujahid said: In the former age of ignorance, women would go out and walk among men, and this is bedecking. Qatada said: This means a way of walking in which a woman is dramatic and flirty. Ibn Abi Najih said: This is putting on strong scent. And Al-Farra narrated that this is wearing a thin dress that shows the body. The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The very act of a woman going out of her house and walking in the street is enticement; if she puts on a show in the way she walks so that her charms can be seen, this only adds a rope to the trap.
