From Salih who said: Ibn Shihab related that ‘Ubaid Allah told him that Zaid ibn Khalid and Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with them both) had in turn told him that they heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) being asked about slave girls who commit adultery, having not been married. He said: Whip them, and then sell them after the third or fourth time.
