Whenever a man divorces a free woman three times or a servant twice, she is unlawful for him until she has marital relations in a legitimate marriage with a husband other than him, and he [the new husband] has intercourse with her in the vagina; this is at a minimum the insertion of the tip upon erection of the penis.
