Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) related from the Prophet (SAW) who said: Is not the testimony of a woman like half the testimony of a man [Al-baqara 282]? We said: Yes indeed. He said: That is because of her mental deficiency [nuqsan aqliha].
