وقد وقع للنبي ﷺ من ذلك أبلغ المعجزة لأنه مع اشتغاله بعبادة ربه وعلومه ومعالجة الخلق كان متقللاً من المآكل والمشارب المقتضية لضعف البدن على كثرة الجماع ومع ذلك فكان يطوف على نسائه في ليلة بغسل واحد وهن إحدى عشرة إمرأة وقد تقدم في كتاب الغسل ويقال إن كل من كان اتقى لله فشهوته أشد لأن الذي لا يتقي يتفرج بالنظر
فتح الباري لإبن حجر العسقلاني باب قوله عز وجل ﴿ ووهبنا لداوود سليمان نعم العبد إنه أواب ﴾ قوله لو قالها لجاهدوا في سمل الله
And in this the most profound of miracles befell the Prophet (SAW), as He, despite being engrossed in worship and knowledge of his Lord and building strength of character, was abstemious in food and drink, which necessarily implies bodily weakness precluding abundant sex; in spite of this, He used to go around to His women in one night, washing once; and there were eleven of them. This has been presented in the Book of Washing. And it is said that indeed all who are most devout to Allah, their sex drive is the strongest; for those who are not devout can only get near and look.
Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalani, Fath Al-bari [Victory of the Creator], Section concerning the word of the Mighty and Sublime { And we gave Sulaiman to Dawud as a most excellent servant, ever turning in repentance } [Saad 30]; His [Bukhari’s] words: If he had said it they would have waged jihad in the cause of Allah
