Abu Huraira related: When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) had sex with Safiyah, Abu Ayub spent the night at the Prophet’s (SAW) door; and when the Messenger of Allah arose in the morning Abu Ayub pronounced takbir [“Allahu Akbar”], his sword with him. He said: Oh Messenger of Allah, she was a young maid, newly married, and you just killed her father and her brother and her husband, and I did not trust her with you. And the Messenger of Allah laughed and said to him: Good.
