The movement of the penis in the vagina varies, and women differ as to their liking of it. There are those who desire the penis to move in the vagina in ascending motion, touching with its tip the upper part of the vagina; this is called al-hateekal. And there are those who desire it to move inside in descending motion, touching with its tip the lower part of the vagina; this is designated the vaporizer [al-abkhar]. And there are those who desire that it moves upward and then downward; this is designated the butchered one [al-nahir]. And there are those who desire it to move along the side of the vagina; this is designated the curved one. And there are those who desire it to be silent and not move; this is designated the standing one. And there are those who desire it to move in two ways, more so than what has been mentioned; this is designated the catch of love, because like a bird love is caught from the sides; and this is the most praiseworthy.
