Hubay Al-Madiniya was one of the women with a strong appetite, and some women from Medina came to her and said to her: Oh Aunt, we have come to ask you about the loud grunting that women do during sex – is it something from old or something that women have come with recently? She said: Oh my girls, I went out on the ‘umrah pilgrimage with the Leader of the Faithful ‘Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), and when we returned and were near the village of Al-‘araj, my husband looked at me and I looked at him, and he fancied from me what I fancied from him, and he pounced on me. And the caravan of ‘Uthman passed by us, and what comes upon the daughters of Adam overtook me, and I let out a grunt like a trumpet, and the caravan turned away; and there were five hundred of them.
