[Abu Huraira’s cousin] heard Abu Huraira say: The man from the Aslam clan came to the Prophet of Allah (SAW) and testified against himself four times that he had come upon a woman prohibited to him; the Prophet (SAW) was turned away from him the whole time. Then on the fifth time He turned to face him and said: Did you fuck her? [Aniktaha?] He said: Yes. He said: Until yours disappeared inside of hers? He said: Yes. He said: Like a stick of eyeliner disappears inside its case, and a rope disappears inside a well? He said: Yes. He said: Do you understand what fornication is? He said: Yes, I came to her unlawfully in the way a man comes lawfully to his wife. He said: And what do you want out of this talk? He said: I want you to purify me. So He gave the order and the man was stoned.
