رسائل الجاحظ الرسالة الثالثة عشرة كتاب مفاخرة الجواري والغلمان

Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) on the day of Al-hudaibiya said to Budail ibn Warqaa – who had been threatening the Messenger of Allah (SAW): May you bite the clitoris of Al-Lat! Shall we desert Him? And Hamza ibn ‘Abd Al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) once said: And you, oh son of a clitoris cutter, are among those who have become too numerous around us. And a marfu’ hadith: Who will give me an excuse to deal with the son of Umm Siba’ the clitoris cutter? And if you were to search for this and similar, you would find many. Certainly these expressions were made to be used in language, and if the notion were for them not to be articulated, they would not have meant anything from the beginning, and would have been prohibited; it was to safeguard the Arabic language that these names, and expressions with them, came about. And whoever said “for every situation there are things to say” was completely right.
