As for sex and coitus, His guidance regarding it is the most complete guidance: by it health is preserved, pleasure and the delight of the soul are attained, and the objectives for which it was established are reached. Indeed sex was established in the beginning towards three things, its original goals; one of them was to ensure posterity and the continuation of humankind until the consummation of the period fixed by Allah for this world. The second: the expulsion of fluid, the confinement and congestion of which is harmful for the whole body. The third: fulfillment of desire and attainment of pleasure and enjoyment in abundance. And this one – this alone – is the goal in Jannah, where there is no procreation and no congestion from which relief is sought by discharge.
