{ Those of the believers who sit around, other than the injured, are not on the same level as those who wage jihad in the way of Allah with their wealth and with themselves } Al-nisaa 95

From Sahl ibn Sa’d Al-Sa’idi who said: I saw Marwan ibn Al-Hakam sitting in the mosque, so I came to sit alongside him. He told us that Zaid ibn Thabit had told him that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) dictated to him { Those of the believers who sit around are not equal to those who wage jihad in the cause of Allah } . He said: And Ibn Umm Maktum came when He was dictating to me, and said: Oh Messenger of Allah, If I could wage jihad I would. He was a blind man. So Allah Blessed and Exalted sent down revelation to His Messenger, and His thigh was on top of mine, and it got so heavy that I was afraid it would bruise my thigh, but then the revelation was lifted from him once Allah Mighty and Sublime had sent down { other than the injured } .
