The word of the Most High { And those who, if they commit disgraceful acts } through the rest of the verse. Ibn ‘Abbas said, in a narration from ‘Ataa: The verse came down in regards to Nabhan, the date vendor; a beautiful woman came to buy dates from him, and he embraced her against himself and kissed her, but then regretted it. So he went to the Prophet (SAW) and mentioned it to Him, and this verse came down.
