Abu Dharr related from the Prophet (SAW), who said: Charity awaits in the morning for every bone in a man’s fingers. Saluting who he meets is charity, prescribing good is charity, prohibiting wrongdoing is charity, removing harm from the road is charity, using his genitals [bud’ah] with the women of his household is charity. They said: Oh Messenger of Allah, he is taking care of his sex drive; and this is charity for him?! He said: Do you not see that if he did it where he had no right, he would be sinning? And He said: And sufficient over all of that are two sequences of prayer in the forenoon.
