Ibn ‘Abbas (May Allah be pleased with both of them) said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) was prevented from completing pilgrimage after having prepared for it, so he shaved his head, had sex with his women, and slaughtered his animal sacrifice [hadi], until performing ‘umrah the following year.
