From Abu Mandhur who said: When Allah granted victory to his Prophet (SAW) at Khaibar, He received from his allotment four pairs of sandals, four pairs of slippers, ten gold and silver shin guards, a black donkey, and a palm frond basket. And the Prophet (SAW) spoke to the donkey, and the donkey spoke to him. He said to him: What is your name? He said: Yazid ibn Shihab; Allah brought forth sixty donkeys from my grandfather’s lineage, none of them ridden except by prophets. There is none left of my grandfather’s lineage except me, and none of the prophets except you. And I was hoping you would ride me. Before you I belonged to a Jewish man, and I used to make him stumble on purpose and he starved my belly and hit my back. And the Prophet (SAW) said to him: I have named you Ya’fur, oh Ya’fur. He said: At your service. He said: Do you have desire for females? He said: No.
