Ibn Abi Dhi’b said: Iyas ibn Salama ibn Al-Akwa’ related to me from his father, who related from the Messenger of Allah (SAW): Let any consenting man and woman be intimate [‘ishra] with each other for three nights, and if they should like to continue, fine – or separate from each other, then let them separate.
