From ‘Aishah who said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Marital relations [nikah] are my way of life [sunnah]; whoever does not follow my sunnah is not of me, so get married and indeed I will surpass the nations by you; and whoever has the stamina should have marital relations, and whoever does not have it is obliged to fast, for indeed fasting will quell him.
