ولو لفّ على ذكره خرقة وأولجه في فرج إمرأة ففيه ثلاثة أوجه لأصحابنا الصحيح منها والمشهور أنه يجب عليهما الغسل والثاني لا يجب لأنه أولج في خرقة والثالث إن كانت الخرقة غليظة تمنع وصول اللذة والرطوبة لم يجب الغسل وإلا وجب والله أعلم

If a man wraps a cloth around his penis and inserts it into a woman’s vagina, there are three points of view among our companions. The correct and well-known of these is that washing is obligatory for both of them; the second is that it is not obligatory, since he has penetrated in a cloth; and the third, if the cloth is thick and prevents the attainment of pleasure or moisture, that washing is not obligatory – otherwise it is. But Allah knows better.
