قرآن ﴿ والذين هم لفروجهم حافظون إلا على أزواجهم أو ما ملكت ايمانهم فانهم غير ملومين فمن ابتغى وراء ذلك فأولئك هم العادون ﴾ المؤمنون ٥-٧

عن إبن عباس قال انما كانت المتعة في أول الاسلام كان الرجل يقدم البلدة ليس له بها معرفة فيتزوج المرأة بقدر ما يرى أنه يقيم فتحفظ له متاعه وتصلح له شيئه حتى إذا نزلت الآية ﴿ إلا على أزواجهم أو ما ملكت ايمانهم ﴾ قال إبن عباس فكل فرجٍ سوى هذين فهو حرام

{ And those who guard their crotches, except from their wives and what their right hands have possessed, for indeed they are not blamed; but whoever seeks beyond this, those are the transgressors } Al-mu’minun 5-7

From Ibn ‘Abbas who said: Temporary pleasure marriage [mut’a] was in the early part of Islam; a man would come to a town unfamiliar to him and marry a woman for the extent that he could see himself staying there. And so this safeguarded his property and made his matter good, until this verse came down { Except from their wives or who their right hands have possessed } [Al-mu’minin 6 and Al-ma’arij 30]. And Ibn ‘Abbas said: All vaginas except these two are forbidden.
