From ‘Abd Al-Malik ibn ‘Umair who said: I heard ‘Atiyya Al-Quradhi say: We were brought out before the Messenger of Allah (SAW) on the day [i.e. battle] of Qurayza, and anyone who had sprouted [pubic hair] was killed, and anyone who had not yet sprouted was sent on his way. I was among those who had not sprouted, so I was sent on my way.
